A French actress, born in Clamart, Seine, France, as Danielle Robin, She married twice and had two children. Her credits include She and Me (1952), Topaz (1969), Naughty Martine (1947), and Don't Lose Your Head (1967). She trained in ballet as a child and danced as a teenager...Read more with the Opéra de Paris. She decided to take up acting and studied at the Conservatoire de Paris. Dany's first cinematic appearance was in a small role in the film Lunegarde (1946). She participated with her future husband Georges Marchal in four films. In the sixties, she began working outside France. Her last film was Alfred Hitchcock's Topaz (1969). She married British producer Michael Sullivan and retired. She died in a fire in Paris, France, on May 25, 1995.
