She began her career as a child actress by playing the role of Lucy Jones in the Jones...Read more Family film series from 1936 to 1940. She also appeared in other films, including Jeep-Herders (1945) and Mom and Dad (1945). She retired from acting in 1948 to raise her children. She died in 1966, at age 72.
