An American actress, born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, on August 22, 1926, and died in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, on December 21, 2006, of a heart attack and stroke. Her major works are Daughter of the Jungle (1949), Dead Again (1991), and Gone in 60 Seconds (2000)....Read more She received a scholarship at the Pasadena Playhouse, and appeared on stage in several plays. She made her film debut in Every Girl Should Be Married (1948) with Cary Grant, and played small roles in films, such as My Blue Heaven (1950), and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954), and also starred in films, such as Pirates of the High Seas (1950). She began her television career in 1950. Hall quit acting, and devoted herself to taking care of her family after she had three daughters, during which time she converted to the Baha'i faith and worked with her husband to spread it. She eventually returned to occasional work in film and TV productions in the 1970s. She played her last role in the television series Sons & Daughters (2006).
