An American actor who was born in Bemidji, Minnesota, USA on October 26, 1906 as Terry Lawrence Frost and died in Los Angeles, California, USA on March 1, 1993 of heart failure. He appeared in dozens of Western films during the forties and fifties. Before he started working in cinema, he spent 6 years as a cowboy, lumberjack, miner, and peddler. Terry Frost began his career in 1929 by working in the vaudeville theater and began his film career in 1941 when he presented the movie Cyclone on Horseback (1941). During the forties and fifties, he presented dozens of Western films of the second degree with low production. In the fifties, he appeared in many TV series as a guest. He appeared in all western films produced by television and had recurring roles in some series, such as Highway Patrol (1955), where he presented 20 episodes. In the 1960's, he turned to teaching drama at Patricia Stevens Colleges in Pasadena and Los Angeles, wrote a book on the art of acting, worked in regional theater in the United States, and worked in public relations for a travel company. Once he retired, he became a famous speaker at several Western film conferences across the US and British Isles, where he spoke about his memories of starring in famous Westerns. Terry Frost died in 1993 of heart failure at the age of 86.
