American silent-film actor and rodeo champion, born on April 17, 1890, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA. He started making motion pictures in 1909 as a businessman in the West. He returned to the cinema after the war ended. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February 8, 1960. Although most of his films were lost, 20 films were discovered in private collections and archives. He was known for Set Free (1927), The Set-Up (1926), and Winners of the West (1921). He died on January 4, 1931, in Chihuahua, Mexico.
