His made his television debut in 1950, and continued until the late eighties, when he began his work at Eugene O'Neill Theater in Waterford as a writer, director and actor. Among his notable works: Airport (1970), Muscle Beach Party (1964), and Dark Shadows (1967). He died in Stony Brook, New York, on October 6, 2000.
