A British actor, born in Manila, Philippines, on January 26, 1911, as William Hubert Fox. William Fox married two wives and had three sons. Among his most important works are The Mulberry Accelerator (1955), Solo for Canary (1958), and The Terrorists (1974). William Fox was a British actor and writer born in the Philippines, and worked in English film and television. He enjoyed early success on stage in juvenile roles, but after a 6-year hiatus to serve in the Second World War, his acting career did not reach the peak of its early years. In 1916, he went to preparatory school, after which he attended Haileybury public school. He won a scholarship at the Central School of Speech and Drama, and in 1930, he got a great opportunity at London's West End. He made his film debut in Under Suspicion (1939) and concluded his work with the film Life After Life (1990). He retired until he died in London, England, on September 20, 2008, at the age of 97.
