His notable works include Zombies of the Stratosphere (1952), Radar Patrol vs. Spy King (1949), and The Crimson Ghost (1946). He was married to Iris Van Sickel, with whom he had two children. He died at the age of 69 after a car accident stunt caused brain damage on January 25, 1977, in Newport Beach, California, USA.
