He began his film career in the mid-1920s and continued through the early 1960s, embodying all types of roles as a set designer, radio announcer, hotel manager, dance director, bandleader, costume designer, detective, and speech coach, while also portraying Hitler in nine films. Bobby Watson died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on May 22, 1965, at the age of 76.
