The movie "The rise of planet of the apes" came first in the US box office making revenues of 27.5 million dollars.The movie is directed by Rupert Waytt. The film stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow and Andy Serkis. Next came the movie "The Help" making 25.5 million dollars, directed by Tate Tailor and starring Emma Stone.In 3rd place came the movie "Final Destination 5" making a total of 18.4 million dollars directed by Steven Quail and starring Arlen Escarpeta, Emma Bell, Nicholas D'Agosto. The movie "The smurfs" went back from second to fourth place making a total of 13.5 million dollars. It is directed by Raja Gosnell and stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Winters, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, and Sofía Vergara.In fifth place came the movie "30 Minutes or less" making revenues of 13 million dollars,directed by Ruben Fleischer starring Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride and Nick Swardson.
