"Between Rounds"series left with an unknown destiny after Egyptian actor Nour El Sherif forsakes its main role.

Abd El Raheem Kamal, script writer of "Between Rounds" or "Ben Elshoteen" series who wrote it with actor Nour El Sherif in mind as the main lead, has been left clueless after the rennouned actor apologized on taking the role. El Sherif was set to play the role of the retired Agricultural Engineer Kamal Gouda. The series revolves around the situations this character face as he finds himself stuck in a black hole created by the gap between his old traditional mindset and the current society's prevailing convictions.This series was the second collaboration between Kamal and El Sherif, the first being "Al Rahaya" TV series. "Nour El Sherif had to forsake his role due to unresolved issues with the production company, which lead to the delay of the Series several times. That is why I decided to put aside this series and start working with another production company for a new series until the current matter is resolved" explained the Script writer Abd El Raheem Kamal to Al Youm El Sabea' newspaper. As an alternative, Nour El Sherif is currently working on a new series "Arafa Al Bahr" with producer Sadek El Sabah.
