In his exclusive statement to , Mr Ayman Salama - secretary of The Arabian Drama Authors Association- said that they are planning to open a chain of connections between the association and the Egyptian parliament. This request was approved by all members in the association in their last meeting under the presidency of writer Mahfouz Abd El Rahman. He also said that this chain will be through parliament member Mohsen Radi who is deputy for the Culture and Media Committee.Mr Salama said that the association is seeking to implement a law that will protect their right in benefiting financially from publishing their work repeatedly. This law “The Right of Public Performance” will give the writer and all other elements related, i.e.: directors, actors, cinematographers..etc a part of the revenue that satellite channels gain from commercials aired during showing their work more than once.
