"El Namroud" leaves Ramadan race in 2012 to catch it in 2013.

Walid El Naggar stated to that he will postpone producing the new historical drama "El Namroud" to Ramadan 2013 instead of this year. The big production and large budget set for the project that reached 30 million pounds are behind this decision. He said it will be difficult to maintain a high level of production in such short time and is setting a work schedule to release it in Ramadan next year.The story of the drama revolves around the historical epic of the king who called to burn Ibrahim, Allah's messenger, so Allah sent him a mosquito that lived in his nose which tortured him to death. El Naggar said he will be working with an Iranian make-up artist specialized in historical projects and a foreigner combat director for the large scenes of combat in the series. The series is a co-production between the Production Sector in the Union of Radio and Television and between Al Sebaei Production Co. It stars Mamdouh Abd El Alim, Mahmoud Yassin, Syrian actor Bassem Yakhour, Ashraf Abdel Ghafour, Sabrin, Amar Khalaf and Mohamed Reyadh.
