Rebecca Hall saves one missing spot in “Iron Man 3”.

After facing a double withdrawal from Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Chastain for their parts in “Iron Man 3”; Marvel Studios nominated Rebecca Hall for Chastain’s role and received an initial agreement. Hall is to play the role of “Maya Hansson”, a geneticist who creates a virus that threatens Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit and affect his ability to defeat a more powerful villain played by Sir Ben Kingsley.On the other hand, Johansson’s withdrawal might be connected to her agreement on presenting the “Black Widow” in a separate film but the substitute for that part is not determined yet. “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black and stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Sir Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce.
