"Mazag el Kheir" May Be Frustrated by Ongoing Protests

Yesterday director Magdy Hawarybegan shooting scenes for his new show " Mazag el Kheir" (Good Mood) in Studio Masr. They're scheduled to shoot interior scenes for two weeks, after which Hawary is hoping to shoot some scenes in shaabi, or working class, areas as the show's storyline calls for.

Up until now Hawary has not determined which neighborhood he'll be shooting in. Though his intention is to shoot in the street, he may have to move production to a studio given the ongoing protests and sit-ins happening in Egypt right now.

"Mazag el Kheir" stars Mostafa Shaban, Ola Ghanem, Dorra, and Rania Youssef. The script was written by Ahmed Abdel Fattah, and the show will air this coming Ramadan season.
