Sandy Joins "Fad Ishtibak," Prepares to Host Tunisian Beauty Pageant

Tunisian star Sandy has joined the TV cast of " Fad Ishtibak" (Disengagement) in which she'll be playing Mariam, the love interest of Ahmed Safwat's character. Filming is scheduled to begin tomorrow on Tuesday. Sandy will be shooting her scenes in Sharm el Sheikh.

She'll be joining cast members Ahmed Safwat, Sanaa Youssef, Enass Kamel, and Tarek Abdelaziz. The show is helmed by writer and director Hazem Metwaly.

Sandy is keeping busy: she's preparing to travel in the coming days to her native Tunis to host the national beauty pageant on March 31, a competition that she won many years ago. Sandy made her last television appearance on "Ibn El Nizam" with Hani Ramzy, which aired during Ramadan last year.
