Casey Affleck Joins Chris Nolan's "Interstellar" All-Star Cast

Casey Affleck has just signed on to star in Christopher Nolan's " Interstellar," according to comments he made to Elle magazine.
Affleck said he would start shooting the film with Nolan this fall, though he declined to reveal any hard details about the character he'll be playing. Like many Nolan films, the cast is mouthwateringly impressive. It so far includes Jessica Chastain, Matthew McConaughey, Michael Caine and Anne Hathaway.

Nolan is the man we have to thank for " The Dark Knight" movies, as well as " Inception" and " Memento." He also produced this summer's big blockbuster, "Man of Steel."

The film is due for a 2014 release. Maestro of the epic film score Hans Zimmer has also recently announced he'd be providing the music for "Interstellar." We certainly can't wait.
