Musician Reda Ragab says his daughter, the singer Ghada Ragab, sustained a minor injury, not a concussion as some previous reports had stated. Ragab said in an exclusive statement to that Ghada returned home from the hospital after slipping in the bathroom at home and hurting herself. He also mentioned she stayed less than hour after the doctor gave her some ointment for the bruises.

On the lighter side of things, Reda told us Ghada is getting ready to perform a number of concerts for the benefit of the Egyptian army but was waiting out the current instability to start rehearsals.

Meanwhile, Ghada has been celebrating the success of her song " link" with Ehab Tawfiq, Mostafa Kamel, Khaled Agag and Bossy. The patriotic anthem has been playing on repeat on many channels in the spirit of support for the army following the July 3 ouster of Mohamed Morsi. Ghada also recorded the theme song to the Ramadan show " Nazareyet el Gawafa" (Guava Theory).
