“Lion's Heart” Writer : I expected the film to make 30 million in the box office, and it deserves to stay in theaters till Al Adha

In an exclusive interview with , screenwriter Hossam Mousa stated that “ Qalb al Assad” (Lion Heart) deserves to continue its run in theaters through Al Adha holiday season, after it made a huge revenue, reaching 17 million pounds, despite the curfew that has been applied for more than a month now, and the political turmoil in the country.

Mousa added that he expected the film to break the 30 million pound barrier, if the situation gets more peaceful on the political side, given that the film's audience didn't come from one class of the society, since it targeted all classes and cultures by not containing explicit scenes or words.

“Qalb al Assad” comes first in terms of box office success among other films that have been released at the start of the same season durig Al Fitr holiday. It has been confirmed that the film will stay in theaters during the next season.

Mohamed Ramadan, Horeya Farghaly, Riham Ayman and Hassan Hosny star in the film, which was written by Hossam Mousa and directed by Karim el Sobky.
