Robert De Niro Replaces James Gandolfini in “Criminal Justice”

Robert De Niro will take over James Gandolfini's part in the HBO miniseries “Criminal Justice,” The Hollywood Reporter said. Late Gandolfini will remain an executive producer. Riz Ahmed, Bill Camp and Payman Maadi also star.

“Criminal Justice” is set in New York, where an attorney (De Niro) is working on a case of a Pakistani being accused of murder.

Gandolfini died last June following a heart attack in Italy.
