Ash El Bolbol Tops Egyptian Box Office for the Second Consecutive Week

Ash El Bolbol(Nightingale's Nest) is still on top of the boxoffice list in Egypt for the second consecutive week, earning 5.8million EGP this week, and 6.9 million in total.

Saad El Soghayar, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and May Selim co-starin the film, which follows a taxi driver's dream of becoming apopular singer with the help of a belly dancer.

Another filmkeeping its position on the box office list is Al Qashash, directedby Ismail Farouk and starring Mohamed Farag, which is still at number 2 afteradding $2.6 million pounds to its total gross. Hatoli Ragel (Bring me a Man), directed by Mohamed Shaker Khodeir took a step forward, movingfrom number 4 last week to number 3, after earning 1.9 million poundsthis week.

Another one-stepadvance was made by 8%, which after making 1.7 million pounds thisweek moved to number 4. The film stars the pop music trio Oka, Ortegaand Shehta Karika, and was directed by Hossam Elgohary. Next came Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity at number 5, earning 781 thousand pounds.Gravity is available in Vodafone IMAX cinema, along with Ender's Game.
