Natalie Portman's "Jane Got a Gun" to Hit Theaters Next Summer

After a lawsuit against its initialdirector, Lynne Ramsay, distributors of “ Jane Got a gun,”Relativity and The Weinstein Co., announced the release date of thenew western leaded by Natalie Portman.

The film now co-stars Noah Emmerich, Ewan McGregor and Joel Edgerton after Jude Law and Bradley Cooperboth joined the project and then dropped out. The western will be directed by GavinO'Connor, teaming up again with Joel Edgerton after “The Warrior.”

It stars Portman as a frontier woman who has built a new life withher husband after being tormented by the Bishop's boys' outlaw gang.When her husband gets into a fight with the gang's mastermind, Janeturns to her former fiance to protect her family.The movie's budget reached $25 million,and will hit theaters next summer.
