Photos: “Baad Al Toufan” Premieres in the Absence of Ahmed Azmy

TheArab Cinema Company held a special screening for “Baad AlToufan,” at Nile City movie theater on Tuesday the 17thof December.The movie is the winner of Youssef Chahines's award at the Rebat Filmfestival last year.

Thefeature's crew attended the screening headed by the director Hazem Metwali and accompanied with Hanan Motawiewho attended the Cairopremiere with her mother Sohier El Morshedi. Actresses Heba Magdy and Reham Hagag were there along the producer of the film Ashraf Sakr. Leadactor Ahmed Azmy though missed the event with no declared reasons.

Theevent witnessed the visit of many guests, among them is actor Eyad Nassar, Marwa Abdel Monem, radio presenter Ossama Mounir,cinematographer Ramses Marzouk and others.

Themovie's release has been postponed more than once due to thepolitical unrest Egypt has been witnessing during the year. Producedby Phoenix for Ashraf Sakr, the film is in theaters today.
