Google Egypt Celebrates Salah Gaheen's 83rd Birthday

On the 83rd memory of thebirth of late poet Salah Gaheen, Google has replaced its logo on thesearch engine's page by the picture of puppets from “El Leila ElKebira” (The Big Night) one of Jahin's masterpieces.

Gaheen was born on the 25thof December, 1930 in Cairo's Shubra. He's one of Egypt's most knownAmeya or Egyptian slang poetry not just for his poems but also forhis discovery and help to other poets like Fouad Kaoud. Beside poetryGaheen wrote screenplays, draw caricatures and acted in some moviesand series.
