After Mona Zaki's Declination.... Amr Diab Nominates Menna Shalaby to Co-star in “Al Shohra”

Pop star Amr Diab has nominated Menna Shalaby to play the female lead in his new TV show “ Al Shohra,” which is supposed to air next Ramadan. Sources reported to that Menna is now reading episode scripts of the new project to reach a decision concerning Diab's offer soon.

Shalaby is the second star suggested by Amr to co-star alongside him in the series after Mona Zaki, who recently declined the offer. Diab is awaiting to contract a female lead after the cast was joined by Boshra, Edward, Ahmed Fahmy, Amina Khalil and Mohamed Lotfy officially, and the rest of the casting is now in process.

“Al Shohra” is written by Medhat El Adl and will be directed by Ahmed Nader Galal and produced by Tamer Morsy. Production is set to start by the beginning of next February.
