The Examiner Chooses 'The Citizen' Among 10 Best Films of 2013

Starring Egyptian actor Khaled El Nabawy, the American drama independent film The Citizen was chosen ninth on the list of 10 best American films on the examiner news website. Gravity came first on the list, followed by Prisoners and The Way Way Back.

The Citizen is the first lead role for Khaled El Nabawy in an international film, where he is joined by Agnes Bruckner, Rizwan Manji, William Atherton, and Cary Elwes, and was directed by Sam Kadi. The film had its Egyptian theatrical release on the 4th of last December.
