Pop singer Lady Gaga has expressed her happiness on her twitter page, about the approval of Chinese authorities on the release of her ARTPOP album in the country.

The Chinese ministry of culture has decided three years ago to ban Lady Gaga's songs, a measure that was also applied to other artists like Katy Perry and Backstreet Boys.

Lady Gaga added that she hopes that she will be allowed to perform live in China after the ban was lifted.
