“Law” Series Trailer Uncovers “Unfaithful” Ripp-off

After the trailer of the new series “ Law” (If) which features a song by Lebanese star Elissa was pirated and released, the producers of the series released the trailer officially.

But the trailer uncovered a very obvious reference in story to the American film Unfaithful, which starred Richard Gere and Diane Lane, released in 2002, and depicts the story of a wife's infidelity to her husband with a young writer, who is depicted as a young painter in the series.

The trailer features a segment showing how the female character met with the young painter, which bears a striking resemblance to the same part from the film.

The series stars Abed Fahd as the husband, and is directed by Samer Barqawy. It will air in the coming Ramadan.
