Mohamed Hassan Ramzy: “El Gezira 2” Is The Top Grossing Egyptian Film Of All Time

Producer and president of the Egyptian film industry chamber Mohamed Hassan Ramzy has expressed his happiness about the achievement made by his film “ El Gezira 2”, as it has become the highest grossing Egyptian film at the box office in the country's history.

Ramzy wrote on his Facebook page: “I thank God then thank you all, today El Gezira 2 has become the highest grossing film at the box office since the establishment of cinema in Egypt....., and I wish for all the other films that appreciate the audience's mentality to become the top grossing films so that we could restore Egyptian cinema's value and importance”.

“El Gezira 2” stars Ahmed El Sakka, Khaled El Sawy, Khaled Saleh, Hend Sabry and Arwa Gouda, and was written by Mohamed, Khaled and Sherin Diab and directed by Sherif Arafa.
