Documentary About Iranian Illegal Immigrants To Screen At European Film Panorama

Kaveh Bakhtiari's documentary film " Stop-Over" will be screened today for the first time at the 7th Panorama of the European Film.

In the course of living long months with a group of Iranian illegals in Athens, the director examines this radical choice of pursuing a better life through the most perilous of possibilities: clandestinity. The film will be screened at Zawya theater, in downtown Cairo.

Zawya will also screen Thomas Vinterberg's The Hunt, Ignas Jonynas' The Gambler, Wim Wenders' Paris, Texas and Pawel Pawlikowski's Ida.

Galaxy theater will be screening Living is Easy with Eyes Closed, Bela Tarr's The Turin Horse, Wim Wenders' documentary Buena Vista Social Club, Rok Bicek's Class Enemy and Yan Demang's period war film 71'.

The Panorama of the European film has commenced on the 19th of November, and will continue till the 29th of the same month.
