Mamdouh Shahin, the producer of the upcoming series " Al Soualuk" (The Bum), has fired Ahmed Saleh, the director of the project, along with Mohamed Mokhtar, its cinematographer, after they completed shooting almost half of the episodes. Shahin substituted Saleh with Abdel Aziz Hashad to continue conducting the production.

This happened without Ahmed Saleh's consent, as Shahin considered him acting as an hindrance to the production process before the law, due to him asking for numerous days off. In turn, Saleh responded with filing a lawsuit against Shahin and Hashad at the filmmakers syndicate for carrying on with the production without his legal approval.

The series stars Khaled El Sawy, Naglaa Badr, Hassan Hosny, Sayed Ragab, Merihan Hussein, Rahma Hassan and Phedra, and was written by Mohammed El Hennawy. It will start airing in less than ten days.
