Aram Al Tahhani, the big bully, and his son Aram are robbed on their way back. Aram, the son, attacks them and orders his father to attack the Magharbelin neighborhood to subdue the bullies.

The big bully and Aram set out to discipline Shahata Abu Al Rokb and appoint Noshi in his place, while a group of communists live nearby. The bully later suffers from a hereditary disease that drives him insane.

Sadness prevails in Aram's house because he only has girls. Hassan proposes to Najiba, and Aram agrees, despite the big bully's approval, to marry her to Sanhouri's son to strengthen their influence in the region.

Noshi helps Hassan Effendi with the wedding preparations, and Aram the Great helps him with the wedding despite his disapproval. Shahata and his aides raise Noshi’s concerns, and the communist organization “The Black Hands” appears, led by Abdel Rahman Fahmy.

Aram sets a date for Najiba's wedding, Al Tahan dies after becoming addicted to morphine, and Aram buys Mansour's shop to help him. Sheikh Attia is shot during a police raid on his outlaw brother.

Hamad and his organization plan to assassinate Lord George and rent Hassan Effendi's house to Attia Al Azhari. Aram beats and blinds Abdo, the ironer, and later expels Attia, mistaking him for a charlatan.

Mansour imagines that Attia Al Azhari is a magician who is in a relationship with the jinn, so Aram asks him to leave the house because he is affected by his spells. However, his daughters turn to Attia to cast a spell for them to have male children.

Hasan Effendi and Najiba have two sons, and Aram the Elder offers his grandson the right to succeed him, and he agrees to become a doctor. Aram expels Qarqar and Sakr, and Aram, the grandkid, enters Dar al-Ulum College because of his love of literature.

Nabila begs young Aram to help her enter the teachers' college. Hassan falls in love with Ikram, while Aram sees her as a sister. He cancels the tribute and approves the marriage of six of his granddaughters on the same day.

Awis lives in Bir al-Sallam, and Bomba dies, so Sakina returns with her child to her father's house. Awis defends Nabila in the oven, but Aram beats him, and Kamal proposes to Sakina.

Young Aram agrees to Kamal’s marriage to Sakina, Samir sees Ikram with Al Ambashi, and tells Hassan. Old Aram proposes to young Aram to marry either Nabila or Ikram.

Attia Al Azhari closes his door after his visit to Al Hussein, raising a mystery. Al Ambashi proposes to Ikram, while young Aram marries Narjis and falls in love with Rahma, who also seduces Hassan with her beauty.

Marzouq returns with men to attack Noshi. Shahata joins him and tries to win Khalifa over. Nabila asks her grandfather to let her live alone after her mother's death and her sisters' marriages.

Kamal exploits his wife Sakina's money, so she kills him out of fear of her grandfather, and the death of her husbands becomes a curse. Young Aram eliminates Marzouq's men.

Young Aram's wife gives birth to a daughter, and older Aram visits Adnan Bey to check on Safwan Pasha before his death. Rahma works for a communist magazine and influences its director, and the cartoonist Atef falls in love with her and joins the organization.

Hassan lures Samih Pasha and films him in a moral scandal. Hassan Effendi and Awis are arrested on charges of carrying communist books. Milad, Mansour, and Atef are arrested, and Aram trades Samih’s photos for their release.

Ikram complains to her grandfather about not having children, and young Aram is cruel to Narjis, so she asks Nabila to teach her to read. Milad and Mansour are released from prison, and old Aram reports his grandson to the police to keep him away from them on charges of communism.

Aram tries to get his grandson out by bribing the butcher, and he becomes suspicious of Rahma's intentions after she asks Atef to intervene, while the political police fabricate a sexual case against Milad, Mansour, and Atef and arrest them.

Young Aram refuses Hassan's marriage to Rahma and proposes to Nabila. A rumor spreads that he asked for her hand, so she beats him up in the street. Hassan is appointed to his position through a suspicious deal, and Marzouq asks for forgiveness to return.

Marzouq returns to the neighborhood with his two nephews, and Awis agrees with Jaber, Attia's brother, to deceive people by claiming to communicate with the jinn, and reveals to him the secret of Aram's daughter.

Samir asks Qarqar to teach him to sing and play music, while young Aram orders Kamal to inform older Aram of the rumor of an illicit relationship between Hassan and Nabila, and that Hassan is trying to correct his mistake.

Hassan appoints Rahma as a secretary at the department, and Nabila agrees to marry him; the date is quickly set. Meanwhile, Aram, the eldest, beats his daughter's husband because of his shameful act.

Hassan Effendi is known for his bad luck, so a fight breaks out at his son's wedding, ending in the deaths of the dancer and the drummer. Samir performs instead of them. Hassan expels Awis, but Aram the eldest consoles him.

Nabila gives up her share of the bakery to her sister Sakina, and Aram the Elder judges between two opponents and obliges the loser to slaughter a calf for the poor, while Kamal and Hassan stay up late at Saniya’s cabaret.

Aram beats Kamal to discipline him. Khalifa discovers his meeting with Rahma, so Aram Al Tahhani threatens to kill her if she does not stay away. Aram Al Tahhani stays in the mosque, crying, fearing his sins.

Marzouq pushes his nephew Zaghloul to get close to Nabila inside the school because the administration is unaware of her marriage. Hassan resigns from the department because he refuses to play the role of a pimp, and his father is unjustly accused of taking a bribe.

Marzouq's nephew enters into a partnership with Fajla, Ferial's husband. Rahma demands a sum of money in exchange for marrying Sayed Bey, with Hassan present as a witness. Meanwhile, Samir performs at the wedding of Shahata, whom he had previously severely beaten.

Aram, the eldest, asks his daughter Zainab to forgive her husband, and he and Sabah go to live with them in the neighborhood. Then he discovers that Zaghloul, who is involved with Nabila, is a relative of Marzouq.

Aram, the eldest, consults Sheikh Muhammad about punishing Marzouq for following his family. Jaber convinces Al Ambashi that his wife, Ikram, is cheating on him and secretly dating Aram the Younger.

Samir marries Sania, the cabaret owner, and young Aram is surprised by Sayed Bey's wife during his wedding ceremony to Rahma, so he divorces her immediately.

Aram gives Rahma a sum of money to stay away and asks for her forgiveness, but she thinks he is crazy. Aram asks Abdo to forgive him, while the thugs gather to beat up whoever seeks refuge with Aram after he asks for forgiveness.

Aram the elder puts the agencies up for sale, and Aram the younger marries Rahma. Al Ambashi plans to kill Aram, but Awis saves him and is arrested, and Zainab's husband is killed by Marzouq. Aram the younger files a lawsuit against his grandfather, who dies of grief.
