"Al fajoumi" a uncompleted case.

Al Fajoumi" is a new cinematic innovation that deals with true life stories however incomplete. It exaggerates in describing non important events while it deals with the major events with abbreviation leading to a great gap between the movie and its audiences. You find your self in front of a great man but at the same time you can't find the reason of this greatness. Surly the problem doesn't concern the way of acting but may be it lies in the scenario and dialogue. The movie is such a...Read more masterpiece where all it's stars are just glowing especially both actors: Khaled El Saway (Ahmed Fouad Negm) and Salah Abdallah( El Sheik Imam) who imitated their characters skillfully. When we look at the character of Ahmed Fouad Negm we'll figure out that he is an evildoer, adulterer, ignorant, thief, brave and talented a description that the audience might not interact with. Moreover, you'll find your self in front of a man who's born just to protest in any time, in anywhere and for no reason. In my opinion I think that the ex-president Hosni Mobarak was such smart for not dealing with this guy leaving him to talk and express him self freely with no restrictions. The movie didn't mention the period of Hosni Moubarak because the poet Ahmed Fouad Negm didn't suffer at that time. The movie blames Gamal Abdel Naser who arrested the educated people and Anwar El Sadat who hired extremists to fight the intellectuals and arresting them. Both of the late presidents failed in ensuring the freedom of opinion and thoughts leading to the recent cultural degradation and the spread of extremists throughout Egypt. It's a movie that deserve to be watched, however you won't miss a lot if you didn't!!!
