Abdel Aziz's family prepares to celebrate the new year. Abdel Aziz is an accountant, while his wife is a teacher. Every year, the family writes down wishes for the new year and put inside a box that they only open at the start of the next year. But Abdel Aziz opens the box behind everyone's back.

Abdel Aziz is shocked when he learns of his family's wishes. Gamila decides to get a master's degree. When Karim quarrels with his classmate Nader, his grandfather Eleiwa intervenes, but Karim still gets suspended for a week. When Kamilia goes to visit Abdel Aziz, Gamila's mother sees them.

Abdel Aziz denies that he is having an affair with Kamilia. Yasmine claims that she is going to star opposite Ahmed El Sakka in a movie, but her friends don't believe her. Karim decides to monitor his sister. Gamila leaves the house when she learns of Kamilia's attempt to get close to Abdel Aziz.

Karim suffers from heatstroke as he monitors Yasmine. Gamila goes to her father's house. As Abdel Aziz tries to reconcile with Gamila, Kamilia learns that Karim is ill and shows up to help. Gamila learns that Kamilia is in her house.

Gamila kicks Abdel Aziz out of her father's house. Yasmine asks her grandfather to convince her father to let her act. Abdel Aziz grounds his kids after he finds a pack of cigarettes in Karim's room and reads the texts on Yasmine's phone. It turns out that the cigarettes belong to Eleiwa.

As Sakina incites Gamila, Abdel Aziz quarrels with Kamilia for going to his house. Sherif inadvertently ruins Abdel Aziz's work. Yasmine's friends prank her. Nadia learns that Eleiwa is lying to her. Abdu asks Abdel Aziz to bring Sakina his money.

Abdel Aziz goes to bring Yasmine home after the police find her on the Suez road. Abdel Aziz and Gamila run into Hossam, Gamila's neighbor who used to like her. Eleiwa invites Kamilia to dinner, only to discover that his wallet was stolen. Sakina is robbed.

It's revealed that Abdu is the one who robbed Sakina. Nadia confronts Eleiwa. Abdel Aziz and Gamila decide to punish their children and tell them that they are getting separated. Gamila has Karim work as a waiter in a restaurant, and Nader takes a picture of him.

Yasmine fakes a suicide attempt to prevent her parents from separating. Kamilia sees the letter that Yasmine wrote and thinks that Abdel Aziz wants to marry her. Hossam tells Abdu that he knows that he robbed Sakina. Nader decides to use the picture he took of Karim to make fun of him in school.

Kamilia apologizes to Abdel Aziz after she confirms that he doesn't love her. Sakina learns that Abdu was behind the robbery. Yasmine asks to meet Kamilia. Gamila supports Karim after Nader tells everyone about his job.

Karim and Yasmine want to punish their parents for lying to them. Eleiwa goes looking for the maid, Insaf, who had Alzheimer's disease. It's revealed that Kamilia lives in a local neighborhood with her father, stepmother, and the stepmother's brother, Sabry, who wants to marry Kamilia.

Sabry learns that Kamilia goes to Abdel Aziz's house. Sakina moves in with Abdel Aziz. Eleiwa is transferred to the hospital. As Abdel Aziz tries to reconcile Abdu and Sakina by giving the money back to the latter, Sabry steals the money and the car.

Nadia visits Eleiwa. Karim decides to take revenge on Nader. Abdel Aziz's colleague, Mohsen, incites the ban manager against him and gets him and Kamilia suspended. Karim gets Nader suspended.

Yasmine reprimands Karim for what he did to Nader and decides to tell Ms. Nadia the truth. When Sakina and Insaf quarrel, Abdel Aziz decides to send Insaf to live with Eleiwa. Nader asks Dina to help him get close to Yasmine.

Nader tells Yasmine the truth about what her friends did to her. Sherif tells Abdel Aziz that the bank fired him and Kamilia. Sabry promises to pay off the debts of Kamilia's father if she marries him. Eleiwa and Nadia grow close. Gamila returns home when she learns about Abdel Aziz's dismissal.

Abdu enlists Abdel Aziz's help to convince Sakina to come home. Eleiwa tells Abdel Aziz that he is going to wed Nadia. Abdu reconciles with Sakina. Wagdy receives Eleiwa coldly.

Sherif gets Abdel Aziz a job in a car dealership. Nader tries to convince Yasmine to accompany him to Ain Sokhna. Abdel Aziz's family is fed up with Sakina's domineering attitude and decides to bother her to go back to her husband.

Sakina goes home. Abdel Aziz's car is found without the money. Insaf tells Nadia that Wagdy asks Eleiwa to stay away from her because she has a heart condition. Nadia reveals that Wagdy lied to Eleiwa. Abdel Aziz becomes an Uber driver.

Yasmine is upset when she learns that her father is a driver. Nader tries to take advantage of Yasmine. Hossam learns that Kamilia's father used to be a businessman. Gamila starts giving private lessons. Hossam visits Kamilia's family as her father falls ill.

Abdel Fadil tries to use Gamila's private lessons to take revenge on her. When Shamandy tries to blackmail Sabry, Sabry poisons him. Hossam is suspicious of Sabry. Abdel Fadil reports Gamila and Nadia after he suspects that the latter is helping with Gamila's private lessons.

Abdel Aziz meets his old friend, Bassem, who asks him to come work with him in Dubai. Hossam proposes to Kamilia, but she refuses out of fear that he will reject her when he learns of her circumstances. Abdel Aziz learns that Gamila is giving private lessons. Kamilia agrees to wed Sabry.

Dina tells Gamila that Nader wants to use Yasmine to get back at Karim. Abdel Aziz looks for Insaf after she leaves the house. Hossam supports Kamilia after her father dies. It's revealed that Shamandy is alive.

When Shamandy threatens Sabry, the latter reports him to the police. Nadia tells Abdel Aziz that she reported Gamila for giving private lessons and asks for his forgiveness. Hossam and Shamandy plot to bring Sabry down. Eleiwa leaves Nadia when he learns of what she did to Gamila.

Sabry files a complaint against Hossam. Hayam reprimands Kamilia after Sabry is arrested. Abdel Aziz gets in an accident. When Kamilia is questioned by the police, she tells them that Sabry bought her expensive golden jewelry, which confirms that Sabry is the one who stole the money.

It turns out that the guy Abdel Aziz ran over was on drugs. Nadia tries to reconcile with Eleiwa. Hossam offers for Kamilia to move in with his mother. Nadia reconciles with Gamila. Karim takes his father's car to fix it, only to end up destroying it.

Abdu gets his money back. Hossam gets Kamilia a job in an accounting firm. Abdel Aziz tries to get the insurance company to fix his ca, but they ask him to wait. Sherif suggests for Abdel Aziz to work in the food industry.

Karim and Yasmine ask Abdel Aziz to allow them to work to help with the house expenses. Abdel Aziz opens a stand to sell Sushi. When the stand gets confiscated and Abdel Aziz is arrested, he learns that the woman who was preparing the Sushi, whom he knew as Oshine, is actually Sakina.

Hossam proposes to Kamilia. Karim tries to cheat in his exam. Eleiwa grows jealous when he hears Abdel Fadil praising Nadia. Bassem visits Abdel Aziz and asks him to work with him in Dubai.

Nadia tries to figure out why Eleiwa is treating her differently. Karim tells Yasmine that Bassem got Abdel Aziz a job in Dubai. Abdel Aziz learns that Insaf owns a share of a piece of land that she refuses to sell. Yasmine and Karim try to convince Abdel Aziz to accept the job offer in Dubai.

Eleiwa tells Abdel Aziz that he is going to wed someone other than Nadia. The insurance company refuses to fix Abdel Aziz's car. Yasmine tries to convince Insaf to sell the land.

Abdel Aziz discovers that Insaf's land is worth more than the lawyer is offering. When Abdu passes out, Shehab and his family look after him. Abdu asks Abdel Aziz to look after Sakina in case something happens to him. Eleiwa asks Abdel Aziz to help him choose the furniture for his and Nadia's house.

When Sakina finds Abdu's will and learns that he has renal cancer, she convinces him to seek treatment. Abdel Aziz discovers that Bassem is a fraud and that his visa and ticket are forged.

Nadia prepares for her wedding. Sakina tells Gamila about Abdu's illness. Nadia decides to help Abdel Aziz with his new project. Abdu starts treatment.

When Yasmine finds money in her room, she believes that it belongs to Insaf. Insaf tells Abdel Aziz that Rabei' gave her the money to hide. Rabei' is arrested. Abdel Aziz discovers that Karim wants to take part in an exchange program.

Nadia decides to partner up with Abdel Aziz. Abdu's tests show that he is in remission. Karim finds a Russian girl who wants to swap places with him in the exchange program. Insaf admonishes Rabei' for what he did. Nadia tells Eleiwa that she doesn't want to give her wedding money to Abdel Aziz.

Abdel Aziz accidentally deletes all date from Eleiwa's phone. Hossam is distressed that Kamila keeps stalling in the matter of their marriage. Sakina asks Abdu for money to undergo plastic surgery. Gamila mistakenly believes that Nadia is cheating on Eleiwa when she sees her sitting with a guy.

Wagdy is furious when he learns that his son, Haitham, is staying with Nadia. Abdu enlists Gamila's help to convince Sakina to reconsider the surgery. Insaf learns that some thugs are trying to seize her land. It's revealed that Wagdy and Haitham are plotting to frame Eleiwa on drug charges.

Eleiwa is arrested but he is soon released after the police confirm that he is innocent. Karim asks Yasmine to host the Russian Maria in her room. Sakina tells Abdu that she donated the money to those suffering from liver disease. Hossam tells Kamilia that he is going to be transferred out of Cairo.

Gamila grows jealous of Maria. Abdel Aziz shares the idea of his new project with Nadia and Eleiwa. Gamila and Abdel Aziz are upset when Karim gets low grades. Gamila asks Abdel Aziz to enroll Karim in a private university.

Eleiwa and Nadia wed. Abdel Aziz learns that Mohsen is the one who got him and Kamilia fired. Abdel Aziz starts his project on Insaf's land. Hossam and Kamilia wed. Gamila discovers that she is pregnant. The family agrees to write down their wishes but to keep the box's key with Gamila.
