Khalil lives alone after his sisters get married. He clashes with singer Sonia because of her choice of prosaic songs to perform on the radio, and communication between them is cut off. Meanwhile, his journalist neighbor publishes an ad in which she is looking for a wife for him. Sonia's name appears again, and Khalil proposes to her, but he discovers that she is not the right wife.
