Samiha suffers a severe psychological shock when she discovers that her husband, Ahmed, married her only for her money; he is a gambling addict and treats her coldly. She notices his attraction to her cousin, Sanaa, so she leaves home and stays with her uncle. Meanwhile, evil thoughts escalate in Ahmed's mind, leading him to contemplate killing Samiha to get rid of her and marry Sanaa.
