In order to secure her son's leadership of the tribe, the ex-wife of Abu Nasser (Nasser's father) plots with Ramah to have Mana' kill Abu Nasser. Upon the latter's death, she gives his ring to the murderer.
The elders of the tribe gather to choose their new tribal Sheikh, a position that Ramah tries to win over Nasser. Meanwhile, a pedlar arrives and tells Nasser that Mana' has his father's ring.
Ghasayeb refuses to give in to her husband. When Mana' reveals to Salem that he murdered Abu Nasser, the Sheikh of the tribe gives orders to have Mana' tied up. The Sheikha tells Ramah she wants to have Nasser's siblings murdered.
When Ajab confirms the crime of Mana', the latter tries to kill him, but Ajab is miraculously saved by Ghasayeb's husband. Lavy and Nasser try to find Ajab. When a group of bandits attacks Sheikha Umm Motlaq (Motlaq's mother) and her son, she sends them to Zaher's tribe
Hamad goes to Ajab's house and assures Ne'ma that her brother is at his house. Umm Motlaq returns to her village and proposes to her brother to join forces with Meshref's tribe against Nasser's tribe.
A group of bandits abducts Zaher's family. Nasser, Lavy, and Ajab head home and plot to attack Meshref's tribe to avenge Abu Nasser's murder. Ramah looks for an excuse not to take part in their attack. Umm Motlaq ignites flames of sedition between people.
Nasser rallies his men to effect their plot and leaves Ramah to protect his sister. Motlaq and Nasser unite to free Zaher's family. Meshref's tribe is warned that Nasser and his troops are approaching. Umm Motlaq's sister-in-law tries to foil her plot to kill Nasser.
Ramah pays a man to defame Ne'ma, but as Motlaq reveals the truth to Nasser, the latter kicks them out. Meshref's son tries to eschew war by making peace with Nasser. Umm Motlaq's attempts to incite her nephew against Nasser's family are thwarted.
Ghasayeb flees Hamad's house. As he wanders the desert, Mana' finds Ramah and Nawaf tied up and sets them free. Ramah decides to wait until the battle between Meshref and Nasser is over, planning to take advantage of the latter's subsequent frailty.
Umm Motlaq strikes a deal with Awad, promising to wed him to Ghasayeb if he joins forces with Meshref to avenge his grandfather. Nasser sets the date for the attack on Meshref's tribe.
Hamad fails to find Ghasayeb and vows to kill her if it turns out she eloped with a man. Lavy flees after Salem sees him with Al-Maha. Awad's mother tells her husband that the Sheikha is the reason why Awad fled.
Ghasayeb takes shelter in her uncle Awad's neighborhood. To prove his mother-in-law wrong about his illness, Hamad takes a new wife. Salem blackmails Al-Maha into marrying him. Lavy and Motlaq quarrel after the latter insults Ramah.
As Nawaf steals the weapons and gets Abu Nasser's ring from Mana' and Ramah, he flees to inform Nasser of what they are up to. The head of Meshref's tribe refuses to ally with Awad. Al-Maha tells her mother about her relationship with Lavy.
Zaher divorces Kumayel. Hamad learns where Ghasayeb is and grows suspicious of her relationship with Awad. Ne'ma tries to reconcile Al-Rahaf and Ajab.
Roshoud escapes from Hamad's tent. When Ne'ma kills Nawaf, Suwailam gets his ring. To prevent bloodshed, Nasser and Meshref try to find evidence against Mana'.
Abu Awad (Awad's father) divorces his wife. Umm Motlaq recruits Roshoud. As Ne'ma gets sick, Nasser sends a messenger to fetch the doctor from Hamad's tribe.
Ghasayeb warns her aunt against getting involved with Awad. Zeina plots with Salem to separate Al-Maha and Lavy. Kumayel goes on with her plan to lure Nasser in.
Hamad looks for treatment for Ne'ma. Ghasayeb's father and his wife camp in the desert after leaving Hamad's house.
Ghasayeb admonishes Awad for sneaking into her tent and she decides to return to Hamad, but Awad kidnaps her. Umm Awad (Awad's mother) dies while in travel. Umm Motlaq shoots at Hamad when he tries to capture Roshoud. Umm Motlaq returns to Nasser's neighborhood with Roshoud and Watfa.
Ajab saves Hamad and they return to Ne'ma with the medication. Meshref gives orders for Salem to marry Al-Maha when he catches Lavy sneaking to meet her.
When he learns that Hamad is at Nasser's neighborhood, Roshoud hides. Abu Attia disappears. Hamad and Ne'ma develop a liking for each other. Awad's men kidnap Ghasayeb and tie her up in a cave.
To avenge his mother's death, Awad vows to murder Motlaq. Ghasayeb runs away. As Umm Motlaq encourages her son to hold a banquet, things grow tense between Ajab and Motlaq. Zeina tries to warn Salem about Al-Maha's plans to escape.
After a contrived fire at Kumayel's tent, Umm Motlaq makes use of the incident to defame Nasser. Al-Maha runs away with Lavy, and Salem goes after them. Hamad proposes to Ne'ma.
Failing to drive a wedge between Nasser and Hamad, Umm Motlaq tries to come between Meshref and Nasser, hoping to get the latter murdered. Roshoud gives orders to Mana' and Kayed to kidnap Al-Maha from Nasser's neighborhood.
Umm Motlaq stirs discord between Motlaq, Nasser, and Oqab regarding their inheritance. She also humiliates Zaher. Salem tries to sneak into Nasser's neighborhood. Roshoud communicates to Ramah, Mana', and Kayed the plot that Umm Motlaq has devised.
Umm Motlaq and her son reconcile with Nasser. Nasser asks Ne'ma to make sure about Umm Motlaq's tattoo. Following what Lavy did, Ajab visits Meshref to conciliate him. Umm Motlaq drugs the guards of Nasser's neighborhood.
When Al-Maha is kidnapped, Salem manages to save her. He promises not to hurt her and to take her back to Meshref's neighborhood and wed her to Lavy. Umm Motlaq learns that Awad intends to kill her son.
Nasser fails to prove that Umm Motlaq drugged the guards. Things grow tense between Ajab and Motlaq. Al-Maha expects Lavy to propose to her. Kayed is infuriated when his men are killed in Nasser's neighborhood. Mana' asks his sweetheart, Sita, to get a tattoo similar to Umm Motlaq's.
Nasser tells Ne'ma hat their father's murderer is a woman. Umm Motlaq plays a trick to ensure her son wins the horse race. When Ramah learns of Ne'ma's wish to marry Hamad, he kidnaps her.
Motlaq gives in to his mother's devilish plots. Nasser sets a date for Ne'ma's wedding to Hamad, and Umm Motlaq plots to marry her maid off on the very day. Ajab overhears Sita mentioning her tattoo.
At his mother's instigation, Motlaq proposes to Al-Rahaf, with whom Ajab is enamored. Wadha warns Motlaq against their mother's wickedness. Hamad and Ne'ma get married, and on their way back to Hamad's neighborhood, Kayed's men block their way.
Ramah batters Hamad and kidnaps Ne'ma, prompting Hamad to give orders to assemble all the men of his neighborhood. Ajab cuts ties with Motlaq and tells Nasser about Sita's tattoo.
As one of Kayed's men harasses Ne'ma, Ramah kills him and flees with Ne'ma who soon returns to Hamad. Nasser assembles his men and heads to Meshref's neighborhood to investigate Sita's tattoo.
As Mesherf and Nasser question Sita about her tattoo, Mana' kills her before their eyes. Zeina throws Al-Maha off a cliff, while everyone mistakenly believes the latter has run away. Umm Motlaq buys the late Abu Nasser's ring.
When Ghasayeb gets mad and tries to beat Ne'ma, Hamad divorces her. Zaher gets his right-hand man to disfigure Nawaf's dead body and sends it to Meshref. Zeina spreads a rumor that a wild animal killed Al-Maha. Motlaq and Ajab reconcile, and Motlaq changes his mind regarding wedding Al-Rahaf.
Al-Maha survives the murder attempt and speaks out about Zeina's treachery. Zaher returns to his neighborhood. Abu Attia makes it undoubtedly known that Umm Motlaq killed Abu Nasser, for she was jealous of his other wife. Nasser kills Kayed, while Ramah wanders off into the desert.
