As Sid's nanny quits after an awkward incident, Ken is forced to ask for Ivy's help. Ken and Lorna argue over Sid's education.

When Ivy finds out that Dylan is using an empty house to grow and deal cannabis, she decides she wants in, and develops his business into a cannabis farm.

While at a pub, a mysterious old woman forecasts that Ken will be the Liberal Democrat candidate. Much to everyone's surprise, a weird chain of events brings Ken closer to the fulfillment of the prophecy.

As Ivy and Ron's divorce is finalized, Steve decides to hold a divorce party for Ivy at his place to help her perk up.

Ivy has her dog put down by mistake, as she misconstrued a phrase said at the vet's office. Meanwhile, she tries to have a sham marriage with Steve in order to stay in the UK.
