A traditional story that revolves around the injustice of the ship captain and his abuse of power over the sailors. The captain bargains with the foreman, demanding that he pay his debts either by handing over the pearl or by allowing him to marry one of his daughters. His daughter Qamasha stands up to his tyranny with determination.
