On Youssef's ninth birthday, his stepmother, Nelly, organizes a special party for him, but the atmosphere turns upside down and Tarek's friend, Wissam, shocks them with his behavior toward Youssef. Moreover, Nelly accuses Wissam of molesting Youssef.

Wissam falls into a coma and is taken to the hospital. Tarek begins to doubt Nelly's story, and Iman, Tarek's lawyer, files a complaint against Wissam without his knowledge, accusing him of harassing Youssef.

Nelly hesitates to withdraw the report after Nadia confronts her. Youssef suffers from psychological disorders that render him unable to speak during the investigations. The prosecution decides to refer him to the forensic medicine department. Zeina tries to understand what happened to Wissam.

Wissam wakes up from his coma and is shocked when he learns the details of what has happened to him, while Nelly goes to him and asks him to drop the assault report in exchange for her dropping the harassment report and getting Tarek out of prison. Tarek is released from prison and tries to reconcile Wissam and Nadia.

As Nelly's fears for Youssef increase and she monitors his actions, her relationship with Tarek grows increasingly cold, as he gets closer to Nihal. Wissam returns to giving Arabic language lessons, and Youssef notices a change in Wissam's treatment of him.

Wissam deliberately ignores Youssef and focuses on the rest of his colleagues, which ignites Youssef's anger and pushes him to act aggressively. The gap between Tarek and Youssef, as well as between Tarek and Nelly, widens.

Rabab exposes Tarek's relationship with Nihal in front of Nelly, and when she confronts him, Tarek blames her for being the reason. Nelly asks Tarek for a divorce, and Wissam intervenes to fix things between Rabab and Zeina.

Nelly confirms that Youssef is harassing his brother Yassin, and agrees with Heba to separate the two brothers until the problem is resolved. Heba takes Youssef to the psychiatrist Rami, and the doctor succeeds in confirming Nelly's suspicions that Youssef was harassed by someone.

Rami gives Nelly, Tarek, and Heba instructions on the correct way to deal with Youssef and Yassin. Nelly remembers a childhood harassment incident, but she is unable to remember the person responsible. Tarek tries to repair his relationship with Nelly and keeps a distance from Nihal. Nelly tries to find out more about the harasser from Youssef.

Nelly's post goes viral, causing unexpected reactions and uproar. Heba accuses her of exploiting Youssef and causing him to be exposed at school. Wissam tries to deflect suspicion from himself by any means possible, but Rabab opposes him, so he pressures her leading her to commit suicide.

Rabab escapes death, and everyone's suspicions about Wissam increase after he transfers Rabab to a mental hospital and gives false information about her and her illness. Nadia forces Zeina to move in with her, and Tarek gets close to Youssef, who reveals to him that Wissam is the one who harassed him.

Tarek and Nelly try to reopen the case against Wissam. Nelly launches a new campaign on social media, naming Wissam as the harasser. However, he denies all the accusations and blames his mother for leaving him with an abusive father as a child.

Nadia forces Wissam to release Rabab from the hospital after Zeina's condition deteriorates. Wissam files a defamation lawsuit against Nelly, who receives a suspended prison sentence. Samia confesses that she was molested by Wissam when she was young. Ismail confesses to Youssef that he was molested by Wissam, so Nelly tells his mother, who refuses to testify against Wissam for fear of scandal.

Nelly recalls her memories of the Alexandria apartment where she was harassed by her neighbor, Duaa. Nelly confronts Duaa and she apologizes. Wissam's case is reopened after other victims are discovered. The court requests Youssef's testimony, and Nelly reprimands Rabab for not testifying against Wissam.

Somia and Ismail's mother testify against Wissam. Youssef testifies and confesses to what Wissam did. Rabab tells Nadia about all of Wissam's deviant actions. Rabab surprises the court by bringing Wissam's computer and the clips and photos of children it contains. The court sentences Wissam to life imprisonment.
