Two college classmates, Mehrdad and Parham, plan to invent a device that will retrieve and record the voices of the past. After completing it, Mehrdad attempts to use it to solve an old family mystery related to his grandfather's revolutionary activities during the Islamic Revolution in Iran and to save his father from psychological distress.
