Dagwood makes the decision to attend college. Blondie follows his lead while hiding their marriage. Baby Dumpling is sent to military school and rises to the rank of top sergeant. Dagwood joins the rowing squad as Blondie is harassed by the campus stud. Dithers comes up with a scheme to interfere with their education, causing conflict and requiring them to deal with unforeseen difficulties.
