Iranian actor, director and writer, born in Rasht, Northern Iran. He started his artistic career by directing short films. He directed several documentaries and short narrative films for Iranian TV. He directed his first feature film, Eynak, in 1987. He is also known for The Fish (1989). He passed away on November 24, 2020.
