Polish director, actor, university faculty member, and screenwriter. In 1970, he graduated with a degree in Polish literature from Jagiellonian University and an acting diploma from Kraków's Academy for the Dramatic Arts. He took part in a number of Polish plays. He played the role of the devil in the play "Dziady." His works include the film No End (1985) and Dekalog (1988). He was appointed a professor of theatrical arts in 1994. |
