A Japanese-American martial artist and actor, born on February 5, 1942, in Japan. He lived in Okinawa, and since he was a child, he practiced martial arts. He received his black belt when he was 16 and later moved to the USA, becoming a citizen when he was 24. As an actor, he is known for American Ninja (1985), Gymkata (1985), and Rising Sun (1993).
