An American actress born in Huntington, Virginia where she lived until the age of 19. She started in the arts as a ballerina, and moved on to acting in high school and college. She spent most of her years in Chicago theaters (Goodman, Steppenwolf, Northlight, Remy Pompeo, House, Structure, Backstage Theater). She won Best Actress in 2006 for her role as Sabina in The Skin of Our Teeth and received two additional nominations for Jeff (Best Actress). She has been seen in many films, including Flat Chested (2013) and Just Like a Woman (2012).
