He is a Moroccan-Berber actor and screenwriter, born in 1955 in Inezgane. His acting career began in the final decade of the twentieth century, with the early beginnings of Amazigh cinema. He is considered one of the prominent faces on the Moroccan screen, whether speaking in the Amazigh or Arabic languages, and one of the pillars of the Amazigh cinema, in which he presented many works. He is known for Sidi Mohamed Ouali (2007), "Uncle Moussa," and "Hamou Onamir."
