Mariam Qashner was crowned Miss American University for Culture and Education (AUCE) in the huge ceremony held in Regency Palace in Adma, Lebanon after honorable competition with...Read more 16 other students from all branches of the university all over the country.Runner up was Carol Rebes, second runner up went to Pamela Botros, Malak El Masry was 3rd, and Misa Mansour fourth.The ceremony was presented by Rudolf Helal, who described it as one of the nights of "A thousand and one nights" seeing how huge it was and how exceptional were the decorations. Ramy Ayash was the main act in the ceremony.Tony Waked and George Haddad supervised the event. It was attended by all Lebanese and Arab media and family of AUCE including University founder Amgad El-Nabusly, principal Bayar Gadoon and deputy of academic affairs Manal El-Nabusly alongside families of students, professors and deans.Judges were Ministry of tourism representative Dr. Antwan Eisa El Khoury, AUCE representative Albert Shamoun, Dr. Paul Auda, Media icon Maria El-Maalouf, former Miss Lebanon Norma Naoum, director Fady Haddad, agent of "Sherri hill" in the Middle East Rania Gabour and hair stylist Joe Raad.The ceremony started with the Lebanese national anthem, then Bayar Gadoon gave a speech in the name of the university, then all participants were presented, then eliminated to only 10.Other beauty titles were given out, like Miss elegant to Ghaida Salahy, Miss photogenic to Jewel Khatar and Miss Congeniality to Cynthia Atallah
