Among the most notable winners of the evening was costume designer Patricia Norris for her work in 12 Years a Slave, along with Trish Summerville for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and Suzy Benzinger, who won the award of Excellence in a Contemporary Film for her designs in Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine. The Distinguished Collaborator Award was presented to acclaimed writer, producer and director, Judd Apatow by Bill Hader and Jonah Hill in recognition of his support of Costume Design and creative partnerships with Costume Designers in films like Freaks and Geeks, Bridesmaids and Anchorman. Award-winning Costume Designer April Ferrywas presented with this year's Honorary Career Achievement.
