20th Cairo International Film Festival

The 20th Cairo International Film Festival was held from December 2 to 12, 1969. The opening ceremony took place at the Grand Conference Center in Nasr City and featured a musical performance titled 100 Years of Cinema. The festival also celebrated the birthday of renowned Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfouz.
